The Wenholz House recovery homes provide housing and living quarters for individuals that possess a strong desire for reintegration into our local community. People in substance abuse recovery, feel the need to stay with one another to offer support, stay sober, and continue working on their program. Wenholz House provides safety, sobriety, and support for souls in need seeking a sober living environment, which is an important part of any recovery program. Wenholz House coalitions with many agency's including treatment and mental health centers so residents with a common desire for sobriety can support one another in a spiritual program of recovery.

More About Us

The Wenholz House (2004) and Wenholz Women's House (2009)

provides transitional housing and support services to residents so they may regain and maintain stability, reenter the workforce, and live clean and sober lives free from addiction.

We are a spiritual program for substance abuse recovery.  We provide a safe, structured, and supported sober living environment to adult men and women in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions. As a Coastal Bend program specializing in supportive housing for adults in addiction recovery.

We are funded by churches, private donors, humanitarian groups, area foundations, and through generous gifts received on the Coastal Bend Day of Giving. Residents with an appropriate recovery time period and employment are expected to pay a modest weekly rent. Our live-in staff guides residents as they seek appropriate aftercare, attend recovery meetings, secure employment, and reunify with family, friends, and community.

Food is free

Residents come from families, churches, hospitals, detox, treatment facilities, and many other agencies.
